Audiobook narration is not as easy as it may seem. The voice is the only tool the reader has in order to show every single expression, mood or fact present in the story he is reading.
Also, there's the intense recording hours in a stuffy studio, sitting in a chair almost without being able to do simple movements, like crossing a leg, for risk of it changing the quality of the voice.
 So, many actors find reading very frustrating and not all good actors make good readers.
Fortunately, that is not the case with Victor Garber. Not only he is an amazing actor, he is also a terrific audiobook narrator. His strong stage experience is definitely, helpful to the readings, providing him the stamina, discipline and technique required for it.
Victor Garber is a talented actor, owner of a lovely voice, and no matter what the story is, or how many characters it has, Victor always figures out interesting vocal placement for each character, making it always clear to the audience  who is who in the story and who's saying what in a scene, resulting in a great experience to listeners following his audiobook narrations.
