 After his performance in the Toronto stage production of "Godspell", Victor Garber was cast in the leading role of the film version of the play.
It was his first movie and it launched him on a successful career in the U.S.A.
He moved to New York in 1973 and, in addition to his stage career, Victor has always looked and worked hard for big screen and television opportunities.
 Victor Garber has appeared in several movies. He starred with Tom Hanks in "Sleepless in Seattle" and with Goldie Hawn in "The First Wives Club", but certainly, one of his most prominent and notable roles is "Thomas Andrews" in James Cameron's "Titanic". The big success of the movie and his brilliant performance as the Titanic's architect opened up more job opportunities, including being cast in the role of "Jack Bristow" on the hit ABC televison series "Alias".
